Gentle Flow Yoga
Gentle Flow Yoga is a slow-paced flow class incorporating gentle stretching and strengthening movements performed sequentially, concentrating on maximum benefits. We combine awareness of the breath, which helps to calm the mind and enables you to move deeper into the poses. In each gentle yoga session, we include breath, mind, and body through pranayama, meditation, and asana.
Yin Yoga
Yin Yoga is a slower, more restorative type of yoga in which we spend 2-5 minutes in each pose. Yin Yoga allows the body to release not just on a physical level but also on a mental and emotional level. We are taking the time to be still and breathe into the pose. Yin Yoga targets the ‘Yin’ tissues of the body. These are the tendons, ligaments, joints, and fascia. The yin tissues are denser than our yang Tissues (The muscles) which is why they need more time to relax and release in each pose. This is amazing for creating mindfulness and opening the deeper layers of the body.
Vin Yin Yoga
Vin-Yin Yoga is a medium-paced class, incorporating a gentle flow, yin-inspired asanas and sometimes, a ‘surprise’ or ‘peak’ pose entwined in the practice to stretch the mind, strengthen the body and connect with the inner self.
Morning Flow Yoga
Morning Flow Yoga is a medium-paced class incorporating a gentle vinyasa flow designed to help strengthen and energise the body & mind. Each class finishes with savasana to help bring balance and calm to your being, allowing you to feel ready to take on the day!
All our Yoga classes are suitable for both beginners and experienced students.
