Meditation for Peace of Mind is a 4-week course that will assist you in creating a daily practice in a safe & supportive surrounding.

Meditation for Peace of Mind is a four-week introduction to meditation course designed for beginners. For thousands of years, meditation has been used as a tool for self-discovery, self-mastery and exploring the nature of reality. In recent years, Science has finally caught up with what the Mystics have understood for time immemorial. Meditation can help develop a sense of calm, peace and balance that is often difficult to find in the busyness of modern living. However, the good news is that this peace of mind is always there, patiently waiting for you to reconnect with it.

Meditation in and of itself is not a difficult thing to do. However, many keen beginners can find themselves initially frustrated and disheartened without guidance and structure to help them develop an ongoing daily meditation practice.

Why would you want to have a daily meditation practice? Well….because it works! Untold studies conducted globally point to the benefits of daily meditation. Perhaps you hope to improve your performance at work or school, alleviate feelings of anxiety and depression, lower your blood pressure, boost creativity or decrease chronic pain. Meditation and Mindfulness techniques have proven to be powerful contributors to these areas and more.

Meditation can also serve as a foundation for spiritual development. Whilst this introduction to meditation course won’t explore these aspects of meditation deeply, it will help prepare you for future studies if this interests you.

Meditation for Peace of Mind is an introductory four-week course that will assist you in creating a daily meditation practice in a safe and supportive surrounding.

In four one-hour classes, you will learn:

▫️ What meditation is, and how it may benefit you·

▫️ Some common obstacles to regular meditation and how to overcome them·

▫️ A few of the most common meditation techniques and how to apply them·

▫️ Potential dangers that may arise from meditation and how to handle them·

▫️ That meditation is not as complicated as you thought·

▫️ That yes, even you can meditate!

You won’t need to bring anything as everything is provided, including a journal.

Taught in the sacred space that is the Riverdell Spiritual Centre’s Sanctuary, you will benefit from personal guidance in a way that an app simply can’t achieve.

Justin is a certified Meditation and Mindfulness teacher with over ten years of meditation experience. After experiencing the benefits of regular Meditation for himself, Justin is passionate about sharing Meditation and mindfulness with anyone interested in exploring this practice for themselves.
